I.T. Worx is Nominated for Business Ethics Award

Greensboro, N.C. — January 7, 2009 — I.T. Worx has been nominated for the 2009 Piedmont Business Ethics Award (PBEA) in recognition of your strong ethical business practices. The award is sponsored by the Greensboro Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals and made possible by the generous support of our partners and associates (please see attachment).

The award is given in each of the following categories: companies with more than 500 employees; companies with 150-500 employees; companies with 50-150 employees; and companies with less than 50 employees.

Up to four Triad award recipients will be chosen by a blue-ribbon panel of judges and will be announced at an awards luncheon on April 21, 2009 at Greensboro Country Club.

Local award recipients will automatically be submitted to the national competition that culminates with the selection of three national American Business Ethics Award recipients.

Australian based Liquip International is an organization which manufactures fueling systems for military and commercial aircraft.

THE CHALLENGE

The Reidsville, NC location was in need of an overall I.T. strategy and Application Development. Our discovery process uncovered networking issues, server integration, performance degradation, email system shortfalls, as well as the client was requesting a Cost Accounting and Purchase Order System.

OUR SOLUTION

Our solution was to come in with a vision for utilizing as much of the existing system in order to maximize the existing investment. Through careful re-purposing of equipment, prudent upgrades to the network, additions of new hardware & software, and the training of staff we were able to give back control of the system to the client. We have completed a Purchase Order System and are in development with enhancements to the Accounting System.
